Kern Electrical Solutions Ltd, trading as Solutions, is an ISO 9001 and Safe-T-Cert accredited EV Systems Specialist, delivering turnkey AC and DC charging infrastructure across Ireland.
As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our Service & Maintenance Division, supporting nationwide projects for leading clients in the commercial, industrial, and transport sectors.
Candidate Criteria
Only tradespeople with the correct qualifications and experience need apply.
Essential Requirements:
- National Craft Certificate for the trade of Electrician (FÁS/SOLAS).
- Minimum 5 years’ post-apprenticeship experience.
- Registered Qualified Certifier (REC / Safe Electric).
- Proven industrial and commercial electrical experience, with strong fault-finding, testing, and maintenance skills.
- Excellent control, certification, and documentation skills for maintenance records.
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and work ethic.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Must be able to manage service and maintenance activities independently and support a growing team.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in EV charging systems (AC/DC installations, commissioning, or maintenance).
- Safe Pass, Manual Handling, Working at Height certificates.
- Familiarity with Joblogic / digital service platforms an advantage.
- Garda vetting will be required for upcoming projects.
