The Solution
With sustainability being the focus for all new developments, Bolands Quay will set the benchmark for sustainability amongst developments in Ireland. With that in mind, we delivered solutions to our client with the flexibility and scalability to allow them to modify their requirements in the future, if necessary. We installed the latest IoT technology for our client using components from our partners Delmatic. To meet their flexible modular wiring needs, we installed a solution from our partner Wieland.
Along with lighting control and modular wiring, we also designed a full underfloor-to-desk power solution, giving our client full control of their power outlets. The full package system from CMD included an underfloor busbar system, floor boxes, cleaners’ hives, floor grommets, and Conti under desk modules.
With sustainability and minimal waste being a crucial factor in all new developments, we were delighted to provide our client with systems that met their requirements and exceeded their expectations. Our IoT technology allows the client full control over building automation, leading to reduced energy usage. With the use of completely renewable energy on the premises, this is an imperative requirement.
Attitudes to the office environment have changed substantially in recent years, so future office developments need to be more flexible in how they use power.
